Lim Kit Siang tidak bermaksud menghina Istana

En. Lim Kit Siang telah memohon maaf di atas Keputusan Istana Perak dengan keputusan melantik Ir. Muhammad Nizar Jamaluddin sebagai Menteri Besar. Sebagai Pengerusi DAP di mana kondisi DAP yang tidak menyertai BA, menyebabkan DAP mengeluarkan statement yang hanya mewakili pendapat parti mereka ketika itu. Beliau tidak bermaksud untuk menafikan keputusan istana. Di harap rakyat tidak terpengaruh dengan agenda BN untuk melaga-lagakan antara kita Barisan Alternatif. Sebarang masalah, ada jalan keluar selagi kita berada di landasan yang BENAR.

My three-paragraph statement at 7pm last night (Wednesday) that the DAP Central Executive Committee emergency meeting on 9th March had not give approval for a PAS Mentri Besar to head a Perak coalition state government was not made out of disrespect to the Perak Regent whom I have always held in the highest regard and I apologise for any offence caused.
